You are viewing a listing for a Mosca ROMP-5 manufactured in 2010. The mechanics of this machine were near perfect but the paint looked like they rubbed it down with a Scotch-Bright each night. We treated all of the bare metal with epoxy primer and then re-painted using a matching hardened urethane enamel. This machine does not come with a cycle counter but given it's age and the nice condition of the strapping head parts, I would guess somewhere between 500,000 and two million cycles. I now think a 20 million lifespan is the norm for the direct drive models. This machine is blindingly fast and would be awesome for smaller bundles like gloves or perhaps in a litho printer or mailing house. Although the arch is a bit too small for large mailing trays, this machine will do flats, small trays and buckets. The 5mm clear is the hardest strap to feed properly so since it shoots that strap well, all other embossed strapping would shoot even better.
